Audrey Hill

Audrey Hill

Audrey is the National Commercial Manager for Kérastase, and in her 21st year with the L'Oreal Professional Products division.

“It’s a huge honour to be a member of the business awards judging panel again," says Audrey. "I’m excited to see the talent of this year’s entries, and their passion for this dynamic industry.”

Malcolm-Gibbons (1)

Malcolm Gibbons

Malcolm has dabbled in many areas of our industry. When he first started, he was working with a salon-specific product supplier, helping salon owners with products, and providing business advice and in-salon training.

Malcolm then ventured into salon ownership. For over 16 years he worked to triple the floor space of his flagship salon and increased revenue by over 470% per week!

He’s also been successfully coaching hair and beauty salons in sales growth, service delivery, time management, culture change and all other aspects of salon business ownership for over ten years.

“I'm looking forward to judging the Business awards again as I never get tired of seeing the great results come in. The passion and quality that salon owners and their teams bring to 'Doing Business' is always a thrill and very inspiring.”

Seumus Cooney

Seumus Cooney

Seumus has now spent 25 years at the company in a number of roles at frontline starting as an Sales Executive before setting into NZ Regional Manager in 2012 and reporting into ANZ head office whilst still ensuring the Kiwi element is always a priority. He works with a fantastic team of Sales and Education that have years of expertise in their roles and ensuring that the big three brands of Wella, Sebastian and Nioxin are represented in a way that reflects their success in the salons throughout NZ.

Supporting training and capability has always been a #1 priority for Seumus and he feels his involvement with The Industry Awards is another way to do that. Seumus has judged the business categories many times, so he brings years of judging experience to the panel.

“I feel honoured to judge these awards which gives me an intimate insight into the thought process behind why NZ is often a leader at the forefront of hairdressing. NZ hairdressers are seemingly change agents in the global hair world whilst delivering an excellent standard not seen in other leading markets which makes me proud to be a part of this incredible industry. We only need to look at our best of the best representing #1 on the international stage to see why this is the case year after year”
